Joe and Tara Meyers had careers that brought them all over the globe, where they experienced impoverished communities in need. They sought to serve others while traveling, but as a family traveling with young children, they saw a gap in the opportunities to serve in a way that was simple, impactful, and that allowed them to include their kids. As a result, they established World Share, to make it easy for individuals and families to get involved, give back, and make an impact wherever they are.

World Share is a non-profit organization that exists to make serving simple, by inspiring and equipping people all over the world to use their time, talents, and resources to make an impact on the communities they live in and travel to.

The Meyers family travels full-time in their RV arranging service projects and doing outreach everywhere they go. Over the past two years, they’ve distributed 14,500 impact kits and shared the hope of Jesus with over 22,000 people! The impact kits are distributed to kids in need at Boys and Girls Clubs, local community centers, and special scenarios, like the kids living in shelters after being affected by Hurricane Helene. Each kit costs $1 and they rely solely on the support of generous donors to support their outreach efforts. Every kit makes a difference, not just for the child receiving it, but also for the volunteers of all ages who give their time put the kits together.
